Family law has always appealed to Amanda L. Clepper as she personally knows what it is like to be a child of divorced parents.

"I enjoy being able to make a difference and bring some sort of comfort during that difficult time to my clients and their children," Ms. Clepper said. "No single case is ever the same and each one is equally challenging in one way or another."

In one of the more rewarding cases Ms. Clepper has worked on, the father was granted custody of his children despite the fact his wife was a stay-at-home mom.

The mother was increasingly going out at night and living the single life, and Ms. Clepper was able to show the judge that "dad had the best interest in mind for his children for the future even if mom had played that role in the past."

"As your attorney, I will discuss your goals with you and align those goals with what the law has taught me and with what experience has shown me to propose realistic options to help you achieve the best outcome possible," she said.

Ms. Clepper received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Ms. Clepper has exclusively practiced family law since 2008.

Other Qualifications

While in law school, Ms. Clepper was a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Minority Issues. She also studied law in Innsbruck, Austria, through the Institute on World Legal Problems where U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was a speaker.

Volunteer Work

She took pro bono cases through the Community Justice Program after graduating law school.
