Often, when Rebecca Miller Grove first meets clients, they are overwhelmed and feel as though they are helpless. She likes to help her clients discover how much power they actually have and how much they can empower themselves. "I enjoy the strategic planning in family law litigation as well as helping my clients, who often feel like the victim, become empowered though the litigation," she said. Fathers frequently think staying married to their wife, no matter what, keeps their family together and is best for the children, according to Ms. Grove. "I believe that one of the best things a father can do for his children is to teach them to love and be loved with respect. Emotional abuse and unhealthy relationships are always unacceptable," she said. "Sometimes, seeking a divorce and refusing to be treated badly is the best way to teach our children to love themselves and others."
