"If, through discovery and negotiation my client gets a better result than he would have at trial, I have succeeded in not only winning the case, but under Indiana Law, preventing an appeal, and I have saved my client's valuable resources," Mr. Hacker said.

Education


Mr. Hacker receives her Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Purdue University and his juris doctor from Indiana University School of Law.

Experience

Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Mr. Hacker served as a deputy prosecutor in Allen County, Indiana, in addition to spending several years as a solo practitioner practicing family law, criminal law and business law.

He also served as a Marion County public defender in the major felony drug court.

Other Qualifications

Mr. Hacker has presented a Continuing Legal Education course to the Criminal Defense Bar on the use of PowerPoint in jury trials.

His awards include being the recipient of the Norman Lefstein award for Pro Bono Service from Indiana University School of Law.
