Rachael S. Cunningham practices family law because she wants to help people through their difficult times.

Ms. Cunningham has considerable experience in nearly facet of domestic litigation, including divorce, child custody, child support, maintenance, parenting time, and relocation issues. She is a tireless advocate for her clients and gravitated to family law because "it allows you to make a difference." 

"When a client first visits with me, he is usually at a very trying crossroads in his life," Ms. Cunningham said. "My primary goal is to steer the client out of that difficult period effectively and efficiently so that he can move on with his life in a positive direction. "
 
Ms. Cunningham is a results-oriented and practical litigator who strives to customize her services to her clients' unique needs and desires.

Ms. Cunningham is licensed to practice law in Indiana and U.S. District Courts of Northern and Southern Indiana.

Education

Ms. Cunningham received her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society and Bachelor of Science in Individual and Family Studies with honors from Purdue University. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.

Experience

Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Ms. Cunningham practiced family law, including all aspects of paternity, dissolution, and post-dissolution matters, criminal law, worker's compensation, general civil litigation, personal injury, collections, small claims, children in need of services, termination of parental rights, adoptions, civil and criminal appeals.

Ms. Cunningham belongs to the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Volunteer Work

Her volunteer work includes being a board member with Tippecanoe County Legal Aid, a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a judge in a Teen Court Program.
